End of Service for the Color i5 and Color i7 Benchtop Spectrophotometers will go into effect on June 30, 2022 because of reasons listed
below:
• Last date of manufacture was 7 years ago on 6/30/2015.
• Critical components within the device are now obsolete, including the Spectral Analyzer, Power Supply, Microprocessor, and
USB Hub Controller.
End of Service is the conclusion of the following services and activities:
• Technical support, on-site service, and depot service will no longer be provided.
• These devices will no longer be certifiable or supported through NetProfiler.
• All spare parts and accessories will become unavailable for sale.
• Driver support for future software releases will no longer be supported.
• Customers with an existing Service Care Plan and/or NetProfiler license can upgrade to a new unit prior to End of Service (June
30, 2022) and X-Rite will migrate the remaining contract term length to the newly purchased device.
All service requests (repair, certification, on-site) made on or before June 30, 2022 will be honored based on spare part availability, as
long as the product is received at an X-Rite Depot Service Center prior to July 31, 2022.
